The District of Kansas is a cosponsor of the annual POWER Act CLE on May 20, 2026, at 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. (CDT) via Webinar, hosted by the Southern District of New York U.S. District Court. The Act promotes pro bono legal services as a critical way in which to empower survivors of domestic violence. Presenters are Hon. Laura Taylor Swain of the SDNY and Jennifer Rawlings, Co-Director of the Center for Indigenous Peoples Rights. Participation is limited, registration is required.
