For the purpose of election litigation, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas has established an emergency after–hours phone number (913-735-2395). This number will be available after 5 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Complaints should be filed electronically using CM/ECF. If a motion for Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) is filed, the parties should complete the Information Sheet for Temporary Restraining Order and attach it to the motion in CM/ECF. For parties who do not have access to CM/ECF, please submit your complaint by e-mail to ksd_clerks_kansascity@ksd.uscourts.gov.
