The annual attorney renewal season for 2026-2027 is now open for attorneys admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Please login to CM/ECF to renew by the deadline of June 30th. Renewals will not be considered complete until payment is received. An attorney must renew if they have any open or pending cases in the District or Bankruptcy Courts. An attorney with no open or pending cases wishing to take inactive or retired status should email this to attorney registration at KSD_Attorney_Registration@ksd.uscourts.gov. There is no fee to take either inactive or retired status.
Failure to renew to an active, inactive, or retired status may result in administrative suspension to terminated status pursuant to D. Kan. Rule 83.5.3(a). Contact attorney registration at 913-735-2229 or KSD_Attorney_Registration@ksd.uscourts.gov with questions regarding any attorney matter.
