I have tried, as lead counsel, more than 50 personal injury, products liability, fraud, business tort, contract and insurance cases to verdict. I have been a frequent speaker on a wide range of topics involving the trial of civil matters. I have served as faculty of the International Assoc. of Defense Counsel's Trial Academy in 2001 at the University of Colorado at Boulder and in 2007 at Stanford University School of Law. I am a member of the Managing Partners Committee of Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Assoc. (KCMBA) and serve as the firm's representative to the association in furthering the KCMBA's Diversity Initiative.
