The U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas presents A Conversation with Federal Judges for Criminal Practitioners.  The purpose of this event is to provide local attorneys, who are members of the federal bar in Kansas, an opportunity to become acquainted with several Kansas' federal judges and to provide a forum in which to discuss issues of importance to those practicing criminal law. New court procedures regarding the District of Kansas' criminal trial docket will be discussed, along with completion of the Authorization and Voucher for Payment of Transcript Form (CJA 24). One hour of CLE credit has been approved for by the Kansas and Missouri CLE commissions.

PARKING:
There is no visitor parking at the courthouse. Public parking is usually available at Townsite Plaza Garage, located southwest of the courthouse, adjacent to the Bank of America building. To access the parking garage, turn east off of Kansas Avenue at either 4th or 5th Street.

SECURITY INFORMATION:
Cell phones and other electronic devices are allowed in the building only if you have a current bar registration card and a photo ID. In order to avoid delays at the security checkpoint, we recommend that you do not bring electronic devices with you unless it is absolutely necessary.
