Several judges from the District of Kansas are participating in Cameras In Courts, the federal Judiciary's digital video pilot program. District of Kansas participating judges include Chief Judge Kathryn Vratil, Judge Tom Marten, Judge Carlos Murguia, Judge Julie Robinson and Judge Eric Melgren.
The pilot is limited to civil proceedings in which the parties have consented to recording. Recording will be conducted by the Court, and recordings will be made available on the Court's website and on USCourts.gov.
Once an eligible proceeding is scheduled, the Court will inform the parties about the consent process.
