Welcome to the new, redesigned website of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas! The site has been completely overhauled to (1) add online services, (2) improve navigation and content, and (3) give the site a modern look.
Visitors to the site can transact various business via online services like eJuror, which allows jurors to complete questionnaire and summons information, CM/ECF, which allows litigants to file and retrieve case-related documents, OARS, the online attorney registration renewal system, the Court Calendar, which provides real-time schedule information about case related hearings and trials, and the Court Opinion database, which offers free access to recent court opinions.
To improve navigation and content offering, the site was developed to provide targeted information to various groups of users. The site features pages specifically geared toward attorneys, pro se litigants, and jurors and provides information specific to each of these groups.
Finally, to improve the functionality of the site, the Court shifted to a WordPress platform which is database driven, and contracted with Cara Flores-Mays of comQueen to create the overall look and structure of the new site. The court’s in-house programmers then took over to fine-tune the architecture and navigation. The site is hosted and maintained by the court.
The new website culminates several years of work by the Court’s website redesign committee, which welcomes your comments and suggestions. Please send your feedback to email@example.com.
