On-Line Payments for Criminal Debt

The U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas now has the capability to accept on-line payments for Special Assessment, Fine and Restitution up to a maximum of $1,000 per transaction.  Payments may be made through the U.S. Treasury website, Pay.Gov, using a bank account (ACH) or plastic card (credit, debit, prepaid card).


Defendants have the option to make a one-time payment, or to securely store their ACH/credit card information in Pay.Gov for future use by creating an account through the Self Enrollment option. The Self Enrollment option includes an auto-pay function, which will automatically charge an amount set by the Defendant on a specific date or schedule. This method can be helpful in meeting deadlines set by Payment Agreements.
