A video conference may be scheduled between the Robert J. Dole Courthouse and the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) facility located in Leavenworth, Kansas.  All calls between attorney and client are confidential.  Advantages of this video conference service include:

  • Reduction in travel time and expenses.
  • Expedient communication resulting in better representation.
  • More opportunities for the attorney and client to connect with one another.

The Video Conference Center is located in Room 653.  Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Room 653 is generally not available for video conferences after hours or on weekends or holidays.  You do not need to contact the court to use this room. It is the attorney’s responsibility to secure an interpreter for the video conference, if needed.E-mails to schedule a video conference should be sent on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.   • Inmate’s name
  • Attorney’s Name and Contact Information
  • Date preferred (optimally, the video conference should be scheduled 24 hours in advance). 
  • Time preferred (video conferences will be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM and between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, as Facility Count is scheduled at 2:00 PM daily).
  • If an attorney or interpreter will be with the inmate at CCA during the video conference, please provide their name and contact information.
